Soothing effect

Why don't you make a wish?? If someone asks so we get many options and sometimes we may be confused to make a wish as it was asked only for a wish but not too many. So we wanted to make the best one and we start choosing for Happiness, fortune, Money or Worldly pleasures which can be bought by money. I'm definitely not going to look into the spiritual part but still we wishing for our good health remains as our least option most of the times and only if we are experiencing a bad health. But I feel that it should be our first option as we can enjoy anything only if we are healthy enough.

If I ask you about the worst pain which you have ever experienced in life. Younger girls may speak about menstrual cramps, and women who newly arrived into Motherhood journey will speak about cramps during delivery. Women with migraine will always remember the severe headaches which attacks them all of a sudden. When we go through the extreme pain, what we pray at that particular moment is for relief from pain. We try using so called pain killers, home remedies and therapies for getting relief from pain and pray God that I don't need anything but a relief from this pain at that point of time and later we forget about it once we get relief from the pain.


Let me give some simple tips which can really help when you are going through physical or mental pain

Physical and Mental pain

Even though pain normally means the physical cramps which is generally believed to be relieved by a pill or any other medication. But if this is not getting relief it can cause mental discomfort which also should be treated.

 It should be taken care to be calm and hopeful whenever you are going through pain otherwise your mental discomfort can overtake your physical pain and further cause more damage. 

Long breathing and meditation

I discovered this technique when I was suffering with travel sickness. Whenever I board a bus I used to feel pukish and headache. Taking pills for this discomfort was not helping in my case. 

Finally one day when I was in that situation I closed my eyes and started taking long breaths and counting. What I noticed was unbelievable at that moment. Before I finish 10 count I felt very much soothing. I thought it might be some coincidence but I tried the same technique again and it was working well evertime.

Know your own soothing solution

As every body has its own nature it also has its own ways to heal based on one's immunity  levels. 

One who is undergoing medication on some chronic health issues needs to take medication for any pain  as their immunity level will be low. A normal person can give opportunity to his/her body to heal by itself.

A Good sleep

Getting the proper amount of sleep will not only help the body to function effectively but also allows it to heal by itself. 

We may not always heal the pain immediately but definitely will feel soothing to a larger extent. And Lack of sleep has been linked to an increased risk of injury.

Stay hydrated and nutritious

 It is very important to consume an adequate amount of water every day, especially if you are dealing with a painful condition.  The water can simply help our bodies reduce pain but at the same time it also should be taken care that an intake of water in excess of the recommended daily amount does not have any significant health benefits. 

While plain water is best for staying hydrated, other fruit juices, health drinks and foods can also help. Water plays an efficient role in delivering nutrients and oxygen to cells in the body as well as providing protection for the body’s organs. It eliminates toxins and improves immunity and increases lubrication around our joints.

Eat Nutrition rich foods

A few simple ways to ensure you are eating the right foods include eating foods to their natural state, that represent the colors of the rainbow, and always keep a good assortment of fresh fruits, vegetables and nuts with us. 


Stay Positive

This is something which we can say easily can't be done easily. I used to feel someone conspiring against me always when I try to be positive but gets carried away with negative vibes.  This needs more practice and a self push to follow. If we are undergoing severe pain then fortunately if we are surrounded with positive people we tend to speak very positive with fun and joy then unknowingly we get good relief from our pain. Studies have shown that moods are contagious so surrounding yourself with positivity will help you to feel better. 

Positive thinking can be defined as focusing more on some good about yourself, other people, and the world around you. Some ways to improve your positive thinking include choosing words with a more positivity.

Natural Remedies
